Elder Scott says, "To acquire spiritual guidance and to obey it with wisdom, one must:
-Seek divine light, in humility
-Exercise faith, especially in Jesus Christ
-Repent
-Strive diligently to keep His commandments
-Pray continually
-Hearken to spiritual guidance
-Express gratitude
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it
